Job Purpose:
The Partnership Analytics and Reporting Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and enhancing the university’s partnership analytics and reporting frameworks to support evidence-based decision-making. This role ensures that all global partnerships and initiatives are systematically monitored, evaluated, and reported in alignment with MBZUAI’s strategic objectives and mandates. By leveraging advanced data systems, AI-enabled tools, and global best practices, the Manager provides leadership with actionable insights on the value, impact, and sustainability of partnerships. The role combines technical expertise in analytics with strategic oversight of institutional partnerships, strengthening MBZUAI’s position as a leading AI-focused institution both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Analytics and Performance Management
- Develop and manage KPIs, metrics, and dashboards that evaluate the performance and impact of global partnerships, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of partnership outcomes, including research collaborations, academic programs, funding opportunities, and industry engagement.
- Benchmark MBZUAI’s partnerships against international best practices, highlighting UAE-specific innovations and divergences.
Data Governance and Insights
- Oversee the accuracy, integrity, and security of partnership-related data in CRM and reporting systems.
- Utilize advanced tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, AI-enabled dashboards) to deliver insights to senior leadership.
- Apply predictive analytics and scenario modeling to identify risks, opportunities, and long-term partnership trends.
Reporting and Institutional Decision Support
- Produce comprehensive quarterly and annual reports for the President’s Office, Provost, and senior leadership.
- Prepare executive-level briefing packs, visual dashboards, and evidence-based recommendations to support global engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with UAE government reporting obligations (ADEK, Ministry of Education) while aligning with international accreditation standards.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Identify gaps in partnership performance and propose corrective actions and innovations to strengthen outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT and AI specialists to optimize reporting systems and integrate automated solutions.
- Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making across departments.
Other Duties:
- Perform all other duties as reasonably directed by the line manager that are commensurate with these functional objectives.
Academic Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Education, International Relations or related field.
Professional Experience:
Essential
- 5–7 years of experience in partnership analytics, data reporting, or strategic performance management in higher education, research, or global institutions.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing analytics and reporting frameworks at organizational level.
- Experience with CRM systems and advanced analytics platforms, with applying AI and predictive modeling to institutional analytics.
- Strong track record of linking data insights to strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills with experience in diverse, international environments.
- English working proficiency.
Preferred
- Professional certifications in data analytics, project management, or AI-driven reporting preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC educational and regulatory frameworks.
