Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager of Executive Engagement is responsible for managing and coordinating high-level engagement activities and international affairs initiatives that support university leadership’s strategic objectives. This role focuses on facilitating executive-level relationships, developing global initiatives, and identifying international collaboration opportunities across academic, industry, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Engagement Coordination
- Coordinate and facilitate high-level engagement activities for university leadership.
- Research and assess presidential and senior executive engagement for international and strategic meetings.
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and strategic collaboration opportunities recommendations for executive engagements.
- Ensure seamless execution of high-profile meetings, visits, and international delegations.
International Affairs Management
- Lead international affairs initiatives and global outreach programs.
- Develop and implement strategies for international relationship building.
- Coordinate with international partners, embassies, and government agencies.
- Manage university representation at international conferences and forums.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Identify and engage with key external stakeholders who can support university establishment, development, and growth.
- Develop and maintain active, long-term relationships with strategic partners.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and follow-up communications.
- Manage relationship databases and stakeholder mapping initiatives.
Opportunity Identification and Development
- Identify potential international and local opportunities for research, academic, and core education program partnerships.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate with PAAR Office on incoming international requests and opportunities.
- Develop partnership proposals and strategic recommendations.
Other Duties
- Perform all other duties as reasonably directed by the line manager that are commensurate with these functional objectives.
Academic Qualification:
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional Experience:
Essential
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in international affairs, executive support, strategic partnerships, or higher education administration.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder, and cross-functional projects, including contract negotiation, legal documentation, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing programs, building high-level stakeholder relationships, and advancing institutional objectives.
- Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills, with success in aligning initiatives with global higher education systems and international markets (preferably in technology or AI fields).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across diverse and multicultural environments, with strong cultural competency and international perspective.
- Proficiency in partnership management systems, databases, and data-informed decision-making, with advanced analytical and reporting skills.
- High attention to detail in managing documentation, correspondence, and evaluation of executive engagements and partnerships.
- English working proficiency.
Preferred
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC educational and regulatory frameworks.
