Job Purpose:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the integrity, functionality, and analysis of the university’s CRM data within the Global Engagement department. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, generating actionable insights, and supporting cross-functional teams in leveraging the CRM for customer engagement, marketing strategies, and business development. The Analyst will be responsible for generating reports, cleaning the data, and ensuring the integrity of the data.
Key Responsibilities:
- CRM Management:
- Maintain and optimize the Global Engagement CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement workflows, automations, and integrations to improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues in collaboration with IT teams.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze CRM data to provide actionable insights on stakeholder behavior, user performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to enhance user engagement strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, user, and customer service teams to understand data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Train team members on CRM best practices and data interpretation.
- Support campaign planning and execution by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure CRM data management complies with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Regularly audit the CRM for data quality and implement measures to address inconsistencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, data modeling, and marketing metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM integrations and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, APIs).
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling or machine learning.
- Certification in CRM platforms or data analysis tools is a plus.
