Job Purpose:
The Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing strategic partnerships that advance the university’s academic, research, and educational objectives. This role focuses on establishing, developing, and maintaining partnerships with universities, industries, and other key stakeholders both locally and internationally, while ensuring alignment with university strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Management:
- Coordinate with Research Office, Provost Office, PAAR to establish and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive partnership management strategies that align with university objectives.
- Oversee the lifecycle of partnerships from initiation through implementation and evaluation.
- Ensure partnerships deliver measurable value and impact to the university.
Partnership Monitoring and Assessment:
- Monitor respective agreements and partnership progress and performance as per established terms and objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments of partnership effectiveness and impact.
- Develop metrics and KPIs for measuring partnership success.
- Implement continuous improvement processes for partnership management.
Reporting and Communication:
- Design and provide systematic partnership progress updates, milestone assessments, and impact evaluation reports for submission to the President’s Office.
- Develop comprehensive reports on partnership outcomes and recommendations for enhancement.
- Maintain detailed records of all partnership activities and agreements.
- Communicate partnership status and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
Legal and Administrative Coordination:
- Coordinate with Legal Affairs organizational units for the development, update, and termination of legal requirements, documents, and agreements.
- Manage MOUs, research collaboration agreements, and other partnership documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee contract negotiations and agreement modifications.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with partner institutions and organizations.
- Represent the university in partnership meetings and negotiations.
- Coordinate visits, delegations, and collaborative events.
- Facilitate communication between university departments and external partners.
Other Duties:
- Perform all other duties as reasonably directed by the line manager that are commensurate with these functional objectives.
Academic Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, International Relations or related field.
Professional Experience:
Essential
- 5–7 years of experience in partnership management, international education, higher education administration, or global engagement.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder, and cross-functional projects and partnerships, including contract negotiation, legal documentation, and risk mitigation.
- Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills with demonstrated success in aligning partnerships with institutional goals and timelines.
- Experience in academic program coordination and international collaboration, with familiarity in global higher education systems, student services, and international markets (preferably in technology or AI fields).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across diverse and multicultural environments, with cultural competency and international perspective.
- Proficiency in partnership management systems, databases, and data-informed decision-making, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail in managing documentation, external correspondence, and performance evaluation of partnerships.
- English working proficiency.
Preferred
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC educational and regulatory frameworks.
